The Challenge

Create two memorable events to:

  • Inaugurate the new restaurant in Venice;
  • Launch the new outdoor space in Siena in the presence of the top management of Burger King and the oil company IP.

The Strategy

Velvet Media recommended to organize two events based on powerful and engaging concepts:

  • in Venice “After the Doge, the King has arrived”, recalling the typical elements of the Venetian tradition such as aperitifs with traditional “Cicchetti”;
  • in Siena “En plein air Italian breakfast”, with themed gadgets, gifts and staging.

  • A photobooth point to capture shots of the guests and enhance their presence;
  • Monitors to show videos and contents with relevant key messages.

Event Gift

  • For Venice: a miniature hamburger made of Murano glass was given in a customized Burger King box together with a card.
  • For Siena: a picnic basket containing Burger King branded gadgets such as a thermos and a blanket.

Entertainment in Venice

The event was animated by the Gaga Symphony Orchestra, a live symphonic group that plays pop music in a classical tune, and the Venetian actor Matteo Fresch interpreted the Doge.
